One of SoCal’s newest culinary experiences has taken over at Paséa Hotel & Spa. Lōrea creates an energetic, welcoming atmosphere amid the salt-kissed air of the Pacific, where guests can look out over the ocean while dining on locally-sourced cuisine. Enjoy a deliciously breezy ambience while sipping a signature libation at our expansive open-air bar or alfresco style on our ocean-view patio.

Scott Rackliff

Executive Chef, Paséa Hotel & Spa

Chef Rackliff combines over 25 years of expansive culinary skill to create some of the most memorable dining experiences in Southern California, using some of the freshest, most distinctive ingredients. As Executive Chef at Paséa Hotel & Spa, Chef Rackliff oversees the entire culinary operation of the hotel and new restaurant Lōrea, and has designed the new dining menu with seasonality and location in mind.

Stefan Pierce

Chef de Cuisine, Lōrea

A local California native, Chef Pierce brings over a decade of culinary experience to the Lōrea table. His love for cooking began when he was just five years old and has blossomed into an impressive career working for numerous kitchens throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. As Chef de Cuisine of Lōrea, Chef Pierce will manage the culinary department of Lōrea and oversee all operations.

Emma Castillo

Pastry Sous Chef, Lōrea

Emma Castillo, Junior Pastry Sous Chef at Lōrea, brings experience and craft to the dessert table. After completing culinary school in Mexico City, she moved to the United States, where she worked alongside Top Chef Amar Santana. For nearly six years, she honed her culinary skills in modern techniques and learned to express herself through dessert. Food has always been a central influence in Chef Emma’s life. Growing up, her mother’s love was expressed through meals, making the kitchen feel like home.

Coastal Dining Dress

While Lōrea is a welcoming and open space, we do have some guidelines to follow when it comes to dress. We want our guests to be comfortable while maintaining a level of decorum appropriate for our restaurant.
